Translators and Interpreters Canada & USA
LingoStar translators and interpreters are highly-educated professionals with extensive translation experience as well as expertise in their subject area. Your technical manual will be translated by a translator with proven expertise in engineering; your medical translation by a translator with solid medical understanding; our legal translators are experts in both legal matters and the languages involved.
Most of our translators and interpreters are certified or registered with major professional organizations in Canada and the USA. Our interpreters are certified to interpret in legal proceedings.
All of our translations are carried out by qualified native speakers of the target language. Our linguists also use computer-assisted translation tools and translation memories, such as Trados, Déjà vu, Fusion, Transit, Wordfast and SDLX.

Editors
LingoStar editors are linguistic experts who carry out final reviews in the target language. We edit texts checking for grammar, content, cultural features, style and terminology consistency. We edit texts in all languages, English, French and Spanish being the most requested ones.
Proofreaders
LingoStar proofreaders inspect the translated texts for omissions, formatting, layout and numbering. Our proofreaders have a keen eye for detail and ensure consistency in the translation. They check every translation prior to delivery to the client. We proofread English, French, Spanish, Japanese, Chinese and other languages texts.
Project Managers
LingoStar project managers speak several languages and follow a strict quality assurance system with product quality and on-time delivery as their top priorities. They understand your needs and customize the management of your project to suit your budget and deadline. They organize and plan multilingual projects, select the right translators according to their expertise, keep you informed about work flow and translation progress while providing a project schedule where necessary. LingoStar’s Owner
Lenka de Graafova, M.A, the owner of LingoStar, is a translator and interpreter with 15 years of experience in translation, project management and language instruction. She is of Czech origin, was educated in the Netherlands and United Kingdom, and has worked in Europe and Canada. She speaks four languages and is an entrepreneur with a passion for languages and related technology.
Her language expertise and international business background is reflected in LingoStar’s commitment to superior quality through comprehensive and meticulous project management, internal quality control processes and an established network of language professionals in Europe, North America and Asia.
